The meeting opened at 6:00 PM with socializing. All of those wishing to vote in person then voted. Pete Basiliere certified the vote with assistance from Tom Giffen. David Thibodeau was re-elected vice president and Bruce Bergeron was re-elected treasurer.

After further socializing the meal was served. Discussion then followed the meal. President Paul Lillios led the discussion with an eye to future events, including driving events as well as a social event to be held in January or February in central New Hampshire. The majority were in favor of such an event.

Pete Basiliere and Caleb Johnson mentioned a possible pancake breakfast with the club.

Bruce Bergeron, treasurer and driving events chair was unable to attend, but driving events were discussed. Events with firm dates include the following:

  • Cabin Fever on April 22 at Loudon.
  • May 21 & 22 at Club Motorsports in Tamworth.
  • June 26 & 27 at Palmer.
  • October 7 & 8 at Club Motorsports in Tamworth.

Other events tentatively scheduled include an event at Mont Tremblant in late July or early August, and an ADSS event on April 16 at Loudon.

It was noted that the Street Survival event sponsored by Tire Rack has been affected by a shortage of instructors. There was further discussion of how the merger of Tire Rack and Discount Tire may effect future sponsorship.

Paul Michali was recognized for his strong contributions to the club as Secretary and unofficial photographer, and as webmaster. He has left big shoes to fill. Bruce Bairstow is now helping with the website.

There was discussion of holding tech sessions as interest is still strong. The BIMRS shop association was mentioned as a possible source of shops that may be interested in participating. The discussion evolved into discussion of right to repair laws and other matters. The meeting then adjourned at a few minutes before 9:00 PM.

Respectfully submitted by Tom Giffen, secretary.
